The shrine of Imamzadeh Yasir and Nasir, located in the village of Golestan, 5 kilometers west of Mashhad, is a major attraction for pilgrims. According to available statistics, around three million pilgrims visit this site annually, with 20% of them being international visitors. This reflects the deep devotion of Arabs and residents of Persian Gulf countries to these two revered figures.
The development project for this religious complex began in 2013, supported by donations which enabled the purchase of seven hectares of land. The project includes the construction and expansion of facilities such as prayer halls, green spaces, guesthouses, dining halls, and a digital library, all aimed at improving services for pilgrims.
In addition, during special occasions such as the month of Muharram, mourning ceremonies and traditional chest-beating rituals are held here with great passion and devotion, reflecting the deep cultural and spiritual connection of the pilgrims with this sacred site.
